Our first Easter

It took a lot of coordinating of clothing, wires, poses and so forth to get this picture done, and you can see how excited about the whole thing we are.

Today was our very first Easter. We slept through most of it, but we sleep through most anything, so that’s really no surprise!

The Easter bunny brought us each a little basket with a bunny in it! They’re right next to our bassinets so that we can enjoy them.
Both of us have spent the past couple of days suntanning under the bilirubin lights. We wear cool shades and stretch out in nothing but our diapers. Sometimes we don’t really like wearing the shades, and we yank on them until they end up over our noses. That’s when we get really mad!

I'm so done with this hullabaloo. Just sit down in the chair and snuggle with me some more --Roland

We’re tired of sunning so we’re glad we’ll be able to ditch that on Monday. Now we might be allowed to wear clothes more often!
I (Arthur) had my IV removed today because I’m tolerating the milk through the feeding tube really well. Roland still has his but maybe his will come out soon too!

I like my bunny toy but I really can't be bothered with boring stuff like having my picture made -- Arthur

He’s really tired of having it and he’s also tired of being all alone in the isolette. We heard mommy talking to the nurse, and when we move to the intermediate NICU we’ll probably be able to share a bed! We’re so excited about being able to be next to each other again!
